Cultural Perspectives on Death and Beyond
University of East London and CNWL invited me to facilitate a three-hour workshop for their clinical psychology students and staff. Spring 2025.
We explored what it meant to be human, on earth, with different cultural backgrounds. We discussed the influence of our beliefs about beyond death, on how we diagnosed our symptoms of mental distress, and whether or not we accepted treatments offered.
The event was held on Teams, with tea breaks and several breakout room discussions. I wondered if this was a new topic for some 50 participants, maybe beyond their current educational paradigm. Thank you UEL for inviting me.
